We don’t want to spook you too much, but followers of the Mayan Religion are predicting the end of the world on the 21st of December. This fateful date will bring to a close a 5,000 year period which began in 3114BC. How and why the world will end is somewhat of a mystery, but this has not stopped it capturing the imaginations of millions of people across the globe.
Further fuelling the fire, Nasa has also famously stepped into the discussion, with a more factual explanation of what we can expect come the ‘day of doom’.
Although end of the world predictions may not be our forte, we are experts in predictive maintenance technology, which is backed by unquestionable data. Our technologies allow engineers and plant managers accurately to predict when a part may fail by alerting when the conditions within (or surrounding) a part change beyond the normal performance envelope.
Whether you agree or disagree with the Mayan’s predictions, being able to predict the future is an extremely valuable asset. It can save your business valuable time, money and resources – something which is critical as margins continue to be squeezed.
